Your First Visit

We know visiting a new dental office comes with questions. Our goal is to make your first visit simple, comfortable, and well-organized—so you know exactly what to expect from start to finish.

From check-in to follow-up scheduling, everything is designed to respect your time and help you feel at ease.

What to Bring

To help your visit run smoothly, please bring:

  • A valid photo ID
  • Your dental insurance card, if applicable
  • A list of current medications
  • Any questions or concerns you’d like to discuss

New patient forms can be printed out and filled out before your appointment to save time in the office.

Your First Appointment

Most first visits include a comprehensive exam and a gentle cleaning, depending on your oral health needs.

Your appointment may include:

  • Digital X-rays, as needed
  • A thorough exam with Dr. Coffey
  • A professional cleaning
  • Time to discuss your dental history and concerns

If you feel anxious or need breaks, let us know. We adjust care to fit your comfort level.

Scheduling and Follow-Up

Before you leave, we’ll:

  • Review next steps, if any
  • Schedule follow-up or routine visits
  • Answer questions about insurance, financing, or care timing

If treatment is needed, same-day options may be available when appropriate.
